Quality Online becomes iCOLOGiQ

iCOLOGiQ EQMS enables organizations to standardize processes related to Quality, Compliance and Improvement Management. Process standardization has a positive impact on efficiency and effectiveness, making organizational processes more predictable and cost-effective.

The core concepts of iCOLOGiQ have been developed from 1996 until early 2014 by Quality Online. During this period, the QOL Platform was successfully implemented at a wide variety of international customers.

Areas of expertise

The EQMS market has become extremely generic, while even the largest companies in the world are looking for opportunities to standardize IT-systems, implement lean processes and grasp the opportunity to implement continuous improvement as a global process. The implementation of EQMS systems is in close contact with the digitalization process of modern organizations and the aim to become ‘a smart enterprise’. Companies will only succeed to become a ‘smart enterprise’ if they adopt smart IT systems in areas like marketing, sales, and product development. Quality and Compliance Management is an excellent area to promote the smart, digital organization.

HM.CLAUSE implements the iCOLOGiQ EQMS suite

HM.CLAUSE, the global Vegetable Seed Company with headquarters in Valence (F) and Modesto (USA), has successfully started to implement the iCOLOGiQ Enterprise Quality Management Software (EQMS) Platform.

The primary objective of HM.CLAUSE is to create a binding global management system, which will enable standardization of global processes, procedures and work instructions, continuous improvement and global reporting.

Another reason for HM.CLAUSE to select iCOLOGiQ EQMS, is to bring together two companies that merged in 2008 – Harris Moran Seed Company en Clause - under one unified Management System. This integration process will help HM.CLAUSE to reduce global complexity by adapting to 'best in class' processes. Furthermore, the company aims to create better control over critical business processes such as customer complaints, claims, intellectual property management, and Freedom to Operate.

The initial contract runs from July 1, 2013 for a period of 3 years. After completion, all strategic, tactical and support processes will have been standardized and operational management and reporting will have been harmonized at all facilities of HM.Clause in the world.

In 2008, Harris Moran Seed Company (USA, Modesto) and Clause (France, Valence) were grouped together under the HM.CLAUSE Business Unit of Limagrain. HM.CLAUSE generated € 269 million in annual sales (US$ 364 Million) in 2013 and employs over 1,500 FTE located in 15 countries around the world. Its investments in Research and Breeding represent 15% of annual sales.
